I feed Eagle Pack Natural daily and once a week the dogs get beef liver and mixed vegetables with a little kibble. I would love to feed some raw to my Grey but then my Shep wouldn't eat here food and she gets bad diareah from raw...her stomach is not what it use to be. My Shep doesn't get a reaction to the liver at all.

Default Rotating food

I found a new food called Rotations. It comes in a box with three different bags of food (chicken, salmon, lamb) and you rotate your dog through each bag. The concept makes sense; if we don't eat the same things everyday, why should our pets? My dog loves the tastes and never gets bored with his meals. Also, he hasn't had any problems with loose stool. Oh and, it's all natural/made in USA. So far, it's worked wonders!

Hi, new here. I'm surprised at how many feed people food. Our dog is a rescue and was very ill behaved when she came to live with us so initially we forbade any people food. We began using Beneful dry and thought that was a good food. My dog ended up getting deathly ill from a bad batch (let me add nothing was ever officially proven) of dry dog food.
My husband began giving her more and more people food then we went with Blue seal foods purchased from Agway which we mix with people food. My dog is pretty spoiled. Now she had diabetes and her vet said I dont have to worry about changing her diet right now. I'm not so sure about that.

When my dog was still a puppy, I used to give him Vitality High Energy. Now he's already a year old, I give him Holistic. I like the result of Holistic more than Vitality. Also, I give him vitamins too and add apple cider vinegar to his drinking water.

I've been feeding my dogs a raw diet - bones, meat, raw eggs, organs - for 6 months and was thinking about switching to Innova Evo but am not sure what to do.

Has anyone else switched from raw back to dry food? I've heard a lot of negatives about "kibble" but my dogs are not doing as well as I had expected on the raw diet, although they seem to love it.

Yesterday evening my 3-year-old Jack Russell had a pretty severe seizure. I don't think it was related to his diet but I'm not sure.

Any advice about switching to Evo?

Thumbs up

Thank you Corky/Max. I skimmed over the information and will go back and read it thoroughly. I just wanted to say thanks first.

hELLO

This is a raw house ... cats and dog.

Since i'm a butcher my critters get a great selection of meat at a very low cost.
my cats prefer fish ... pick that up from the freezer at the grocery store in bulk.
my dog is an 83 pound greyhound and he gets ablut 1.7 pounds per day. His diet includes: beef tongue, liver, pork, chicken quarters, ground beef, tripe, beef trachea, lamb, goat and bison on a regular basis. occasionally we also get goose, venison, rabbit and fresh fish in his diet.

Thanks
