Hey guys, I have a 6 year old mini pin / manchester mix. Recently I found (dont remember it ever being there, maybe I just never noticed) a very hard ball under his knee on the inside of his back leg, at least it feels like a bone its that hard. It doesnt move, its just a hard ball. It only appears when he is sitting or lying, when he stands I dont see it. He does not seem to be in any discomfort, he runs well, jumps, is eating fine and is acting normal. Is this normal for him to have? My other dog died of a tumor on his knee and it felt very different then this so i am very paranoid about this. Please help.

I am attaching a picture, as you can see the "ball" is on his back leg. Anyone know what it is? Is it normal?

My maltese also died from tumors and can completely understand the paranoia, It could be harmless and go away by itself, but it could also be a tumor. Have it checked out by a vet!

Agreed. That needs to be seen by a vet.
