Question Vaccinations...Can you give the Rabies vaccine at the same time as the others?

My dog needs his Rabies, Parvo and Bordetella vaccines renewed.

He is due on the 23rd and so that's the date I made the appointment for. However, I've been reading a bit and I noticed that some people suggest NOT getting the Rabies vaccine within at least 2 weeks of any other vaccinations.

Now I'm not sure what to do. Do I go to my appointment on the 23rd and only get him Rabies, and then wait a few weeks and get him Parvo and Bordetella? Do I wait on the Rabies instead? I'm just now sure I'm worried about waiting on any of the shots (especially Parvo)

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. What do you suggest? What would you do?

I would not give them at the same time!!! All of these shots tax the immune system---I would wait even longer--as long as I could!
A question--Is this the 2nd shot for the Rabies?!--If so be extra careful as this (the vet informed me) is the time they are likely to have a bad life-threatening immediate reaction if they are going to have one!! Some dogs have died--because they need an immediate shot to counteract this --Some owners have even turned around and gone back to the vet and didn't make it in time!! I sit in the vet's office and wait for at least a half hour--to an hour before I will leave when I get this Da*ned Rabies shot for my dogs!! I don't get any shots for my dogs that aren't required by law--but everybody's situation is different ----I know there is a list about this as to what is considered not necessary! It may even (probably) be in a thread in this forum--Will try to find it for you so come back here in a bit to see if I have found it yet!!

This is not what I was looking for but may be of some help: http://information.i-love-dogs.com/d...ed-Yearly.html
Here is another good thread!-- Vaccinations

Be careful about giving vaccines for your dogs, you have to make sure that your dog is healthy enough to receive the vaccines. It said here and I quote: "Startlingly, the AAHA task force indicates (see quote below) that vaccination in a "severely immunosuppressed" dog can result in the dog acquiring the disease it is being vaccinated to prevent!"

Can you imagine if your dog got the reversal? Poor guy!

Incidentally, this tip was also shared by Kris Christine in another forum

I'm lucky to have an excellent vet so, I almost always follow his advice. The one time I didn't, I've come to regret. He wanted to vaccinate my girls against leptospirosis. I did some research on the net and decided against it. Now, there has been an outbreak in my neighbourhood and I could kick my a** for not following his advice.
