Thanks for posting, although salmonella isn't nearly as common of a problem in dogs as humans. Hence a raw diet. Dog have shorter intestinal tracts and more acidic stomachs than us humans do. With this being said, salmonella is a potential risk for dogs with compromised immune systems so those dog should def. avoid this product.

I've been concerned for a long time about the food I feed my GSDs. Most store-bought foods lack nutrients and so many of the products and resources I find out there to give to your dog lead to health issues, dietary issues, and sometimes even death! I found this resource, which has been very helpful for me in understanding what the proper nutrients are for my dog and how to safely administer my dog getting those nutrients.
