Default Spoiled!

I brought my lil guy home to my parent's house. My parents eat a lot of rice and yogurt, and my mom started feeding it to him while he was here.
Now he won't eat his own dog food, that he loves!! He waits til he gets his rice and yogurt, or will only eat enough to maintain himself.

What should I do!!!!

Try mixing some rice and yogurt with his food.

I will second what Laura's Mom said above. Start by mixing some yogurt and rice with the food and gradually reduce the amount of it mixed with the food day by day until there is no yogurt and rice left and it is only the dog food. Take it slow and gradual and everything should be just fine. If all else fails have the food avaliable at all times. Dogs will not starve themselves. They might go a day or two without eating but when they realize you aren't cracking they will eventually start eating. This is more of a last resort though. Start with mixing and gradual reduction/elimination. Good luck!
