Default Taste of the Wild food?

My dorkie Popcorn has a full body tic (jerky movement, not shakes). We are considering switching her food to Taste of The Wild. It was recommended to us that switching to a meat based diet may help lessen her symptoms. I've also heard unflavored gelatin as a supplement may help. Although we don't know why she does this, the vet has ruled out everything besides a neurologic problem. She was a stray, so we'll never know for sure if she was born like this or something happened to cause it.

Has anyone tried this food or supplement? Maybe for a similar reason (or just how do you like the food). Thanks.

if you are unable to do a raw diet, Taste of wild is a very good dog food... top of the line. As far as supplements there are other ppl on the forum that will have better ideas for that. I do an omega 3 supplement and my vet always compliments my Ella's skin and coat. Beyond that im not sure.

I currently feed my Katie Taste of the Wild, and she is doing well on it.
She was previously on Wellness Puppy, and Innova Puppy, and she never had firm stools from it.

You can ask TOTW for sample packs to see how it works out with your "Popcorn". I sent them an e-mail requesting some sample packs, and received them a few days later.

Taste of the wild dog food formulas are grain-free, and designed to be low in carbohydrates. The formulas are also designed to be suitable for dogs in all life stages. Some of the unique ingredients of these formulas are roasted quail, roasted bison, smoked salmon and roasted venison.
