iam wanting some info about blue eyed dogs as i have heard that it is quite common for them to be deaf. if anyone could give me some more info that would be great.

Deafness is sometimes associated with lack of pigment - therefore white dogs with blue eyes have a higher risk of deafness. BUT not all whiet or blue-eyed dogs are deaf. There are many Border Collies and Huskies with blue eyes who have perfect hearing.
