My dog recently severed her achilles tendon. It was surgicly repaired, but i need some help with aftercare. It was recomended that i get her some aquatherapy after the splint comes off. Does anyone know a good place in Maryland for aquatherapy for dogs? I'd also really apreciate any tips for anyone who has had a dog in a similar situation. Thank you!

Lots of rest & TLC. Yes, hydrotherapy would be ideal exercise for her as it is non-weightbearing, which is what you need. Swimming will increase blood circulation and muscle to the area without putting any strain on it. Your vet should be able to refer you to a pool in your area.
