What do you feed?
I was just wondering what everybody on here feeds their dogs!
I will go first.
The sled dogs get Native Performance Dog Food energy level 4 and the pets get a rebagged food that the feed store sells which has a combo of Taste of the Wild, Diamond, Over the Moon and a few other brands.
The sled dogs also get meat in the winter and racing season. Its pretty much ground up chicken,(not sure what all they grind up in it) made in Alaska.

Tiffany eats Wellness Small Breed. She does really well on it. Her breed is prone to tear staining, which can be affected by the food they eat. She hasn't had any tear stains since switching to Wellness.

I feed raw and also some home cooking for my 11 yr. old cocker but I just very recently rescued a 10ish cocker/golden retriever with no background info what so ever. I will be switching her to the raw and home cooking but can't do it too fast so have been feeding commercial dog food. I have tried quite a few dif. brands and if I was going to keep feeding her dog food, I would prob. prefer Taste of the Wild or Canadae.
Over The Moon sounded good to me too but haven't tried it. I never heard of the Native Performance Dog Food but sounds like it would be good for very active dogs which evidently yours are--sled dogs.

May have chicken feet and other undesirable parts of the chicken and may have a lot of it! Isn't there an ingredients list on it?

I am not concerned about it. It is a meat made by mushers for mushers. They would not grind up undesirable things in this meat as it is being fed to athletes(sled dogs) who's diet is very carefully planned out.
This meat was recommened to me by a very responsible and trusted musher. I also know many mushers who use this meat and LOVE it.

Hi
We feed our puppy Lamb & Rice Kibble, by a company called James Wellbeloved. Its very healthy with no additives or artificial stuff, or fillers. The breeder fed it to her mum, so we just followed suit. Its a bit expensive, but lasts for ages. Just to add, Dakota, that here in the UK, we have laws that make sure that any pet food is fit for human consumption. Companies can't just grind up any old rubbish and stick it in pet food (I'm not saying that is what you give your dogs, but I have heard that over there, companies aren't so strictly regulated)
