Sensitive Stomach PLEASE HELP!
I have a 6 year old Rottie/Shepard mix. He was originally on Science Diet Natures Best. Then two months ago we decided to switch his food to Blue Buffalo Chicken and Brown Rice Formula every was fine up until a couple weeks ago when he began to have really bad diarrhea, we took him to the vet and he did not have any parasites but he was given an anti diarrheal and an anti biotic then put him back on his food after a few days the diarrhea came back. We can calm the diarrhea down by giving him pumpkin pie filling. So, now I don't know what to do should I change his food again and to what kind something for sensitive stomach?
I have had dogs before NEVER and had this problem before.

I suppose it depends why you changed his food in the first place.
Can you not go back to the Science diet?

I am just trying to figure out what is best for him and thinking that something for sensitive stomach might be better. Many foods are filled with alot of junk that aren't good for them. good

Thanks to this forum I learned that a bland diet is probably the way to go. If memory serves me, credit goes to Corky/Max & Angiesample. I read about the chicken & rice meal. I did a google search after to get more info & it's the way I would go if I needed to make a quick change to settle my dogs stomach for a few days. If you do that then you can give her tummy time to settle down for a few days & then slowly start mixing in whichever kibble you'd like to retry & monitor if it's that kibble upsetting her.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Try rice cooked in chicken stock for 24 - 48 hours. Then, add the regilar food in, bit by bit.
