Unhappy Dog vomitting bile! what can i do?

Hi there
My 3 year old chocolate labrador has been vomitting a orange coured, mucas typr substance which is also quite foamy. I suspect this to be bile which i assumed meant he had an empty stomach but he wont eat anything, even in very small doses.
He returned from the vets today because of a differnet matter. About a week ago, he developed a tumour on his right paw and has been to the vets this past week to have it removed. The results to whether or not it has spread are expected tomorrow.
Im very worried he may vomitting because the tumour has spread or it may just be because he has eaten something bad in the last few days. Iv read lots of other forums but they all give different answers so i decided to post my own thread.
Thanks
Ben

Is your dog on any pain meds? I hope not Rimadyl! Did you call your vet about this problem and ask him what to do. If your dog is on any meds (Prob. had Rimadyl while being operated on!) now--What are they and I would check with the vet to find out what he has been given that you may not know about! Look up the med(s) on the net and add side effects or adverse reactions---Example: dogs rimadyl side effects

Here is a thread in here on Rimadyl:
Please Do not Give Rimadyl (carprofen)--CAN KILL

If you haven't called your vet about this--You should and find out the meds the dog has been given. This may be something else entirely but it is the 1st thing I thought of. I doubt that it has anything to do with the tumor--actually my dog had one of these removed from his paw and it wasn't cancerous. And even if it was--I don't think it could spread that fast and it is a long way from any vital organs at this point--so I don't see how it could make your dog sick so soon. Hope you get it figured out and your dog is going to be okay.

Maybe your dog did get into something it shouldn't have. Here is another link on hazardous foods, etc.-->

Dogs Throwing Up Yellow Bile

What to do if your dog is throwing up or vomiting

Put dog throwing up in your browser for more info.

Please make sure your dog does not get dehydrated! This could easily happen with all that vomiting---Be sure he is drinking plenty of water! Dehydration can be life threatening quickly!!
