Unhappy Help Me

My dog had a toad in his mouth but he spit it out right away. he's a German Shephred/ Rottweiler mix. so far he's fine, is there anything more I need to do???????????

I would think he would be ok - most of my experience is with small dogs and you would be amazed how many Jack Russells think that toads are tasty! Apart from some frothing of the mouth they haven't had any serious side effects. So a larger dog should be fine. If any of my dogs ate one I would be straight at the vet but to pick it up then drop it shouldn't cause huge problems.
