Eukanuba
Bit of an odd request I guess but I am wanting to know what the retail price of Eukanuba Premium is in America? I would be grateful for the price on a 7 kilo and 15kilo bag.
thanks.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

[quote=lange;99690] You'll have to convert measurements:
Thanks lange ! First of all I noticed you have an Akita called "Kuma". I have a "Kuma" too .....she is a six month old German Shepherd. I will post a photo later.
Secondly, thanks for the Euk info. 40lbs is the 18kg bag (1kilo equals 2.2lb)...so is that a normal price ($50) for that size bag? I am after the normal recommended prices of these bags and not just the 40lb bag but the the next sizes down. The 32lb (?) bag and the 16/17lb(?) bag.

[QUOTE=Yogi;99701][quote=Gee_S_Dee;99698]
Thanks Yogi, this is exactly what I have been wanting to know.
Now I will tell you why I have been interested. I live in Australia and use Eukanuba but it is SOOOOO expensive here and IMO it shouldn't be.....at least at the moment anyway. I can understand it being expensive when our dollar is lower than the American dollar...which it usually is , but over recent months our dollar is higher that the American dollar ($1.09). Even with shipping costs Eukanuba has to pay to get their products here shouldn't make the price as high as it is.
You pay around $52 to $55 for the largest bag , whereas we are paying $125 for the 15kilo bag and for the largest (40lb) we pay around $140 PLUS per bag. The medium size bag you are paying around $30 and we pay $75 to $85 and for the small 6lb bag we are charged $45.
IMO its just greed and the food is fast becoming out of reach (money wise) for most dog people.....including me.
Anyway, thanks for the replies lange and yogi, much appreciated. I think I will write a letter of complaint to Eukanuba.

When it comes to comparing prices globally I get dizzy thinking of it, it feels so complex comparing price of living & wages along with everything else. That's just me.
I would love to see some pics of your Kuma!!
