Hello everybody

My baby, lucky is about 7 years old. He had an UTI and some crystals about a year ago and again 6 months ago, so the vet prescribed Royal Canin Urinary SO, which I am not crazy about. I want to change his food but I am not sure what to look for in his new food, should it be high or low in protein?

I have been readying a lot about the Solid Gold Berry Valance so I want to start a new food and mix it with the berry valance. I really like Blue Buffalo wilderness but I am not sure if it is an appropriate food for a dog prone to get UTI.

My computer is very slow today so I am going to let you check things out! Go to top of page(s) in this forum---See the blue strip that goes across the page--Find the white word Search--click on it and put words--crystals in urine. This will bring up a list of threads/posts that may give you some answers---at least some info as to what may be some clues to what is needed to help fight crystals from forming. Hope this helps.
