Default Sebaceous cyst

On Sunday Toffee's "fatty lump" started leaking (thanks to Luna I was not as freaked as I might have been). On Sunday evening it was pouring with blood and puss and so we have been to the vet. I was sure I would not be bringing her home but the vet was so positive. The hole in her shoulder is about an inch and a half wide, really deep but clean. We have dressings for her and a check up on Saturday but no thought that we will lose her. Thanks for your support in my previous thread. She is definitely on the mend.

Talking

Yeh! Just had to comment here as I had a sebaceous cyst on my arm once. It looked awful and I finally made an appointment with the doctor. He thought it was a boil and said It should be cut out. Can't remember why he didn't tend to it while I was there but I was suppose to go back again and in the mean time it come to a big 'head' and I thought about sticking a needle in it and popping it the day before I was to go back. It looked like if you just touched it-it would pop. Anyway got to my appointment and turned out I had a dif. doctor as the other had an emergency or something. This doctor said it was a sebaceous cyst and not a boil. So happily for me --no needle or cutting--He just pressed on it and Hey I know this is gross but it popped all the way across the room!!---So I could of done it myself but--- That was all there was to it. It healed with no problem----and this was a big cyst too. So happy that this was all that Toffee had wrong with her.
