What do you do with your unused pet medicine? This is the first year I've ever had anything left over.

Depends what it is - we had stuff left over when Ianto died. The antihistamines we gave to the local dog shelter and we destroyed the antibiotics. We could have returned them to the vet for disposal but we just threw them down the sink.

I send my unused pet medication to a saint bernard rescue. I also send a note about what it was used for.

Thanks. I was wondering if a shelter or someone would be able to use them. I did a price search on prednisone but it seems like it's low in cost online so not sure it's even worth it? the bottle doesn't have an expiration date either.

for prednisone, just toss it. It is super cheap and it has to be taken by a specific dosage that normally changes daily.

I didn't want to get rid of something that might benefit someone else but for it's cost it's not worth the gas or the postage in giving it away. Thank you!
