I had a healthy border collie x husky puppy and on the 22/10/11 she escaped under my back fence. We picked her up the same day from the pound but they had put her into cages which they warned us may have parvo in them. She was 3 months old at the time. 9 Days later she started having diarrhea and vomitting and being lethargic so I took her to the vet who gave her 3 injections and 3 lots of medication saying it was just a stomache bug it cleared up for 2 days but then she started vomiting blood so I went back to the vet who gave her 1 injection and 1 type of meds stating it was gastro and she had an inflammed stomache lining. Anyway about 4 days after that she vomitted blood 3 times so I took her back to the vet who said I had her on the wrong food so I changed her food to Bonnie dry food and purina rice and chicken cans(as a treat) and puppy milk which seemed tobe working but the diarrhea just wont go away anyway dismorning she was laying there and just started yelping for about 10 seconds I went upto her and she had stiffened her legs in towards her chest and refused to move after the 10seconds she was fine. I'm really worried as you can see her ribs and spine and hips. Does anyone have any ideas? I dont want to take her back to the vet because they are doing nothing to help me.

Go to a different vet. A lot of vets won't do a whole lot. There isn't any cure for parvo. You just have to make sure your dog stays hydrated and weather through it. There really isn't a whole lot your vet can do. But go to a different vet anyway. They should tell you what will help.

Make sure you are getting liquids in your dog at least every 2 hours. Chicken broth, raw hamburger, white rice...
