Default Skinny Minnie Puppy!

Hi Everyone, I'm assuming this is most likely an american website but you all might be able to help me I got my dog about 8 months ago from the SPCA. He was a lite weight when I got him, but over the period I have owned him he started to pick up but in the last couple of weeks he's lost interested in food and has dropped down to his orginal weight he was at when I got him Any advise on what would help im pack on the weight. He gets feed twice a day he gets dog roll morning and night, enough biscuits to last him all day and night(these get refresh morning and night as well). I also feed him bones(with lots of fat on them) every 2nd day as well as I feed him rice every so often. I'm at a loss as what to do with him as my previous and first dog was an english bull terrier and I was forever putting her on diets not used to a skinny dog.

Hi,

When I got my Labrador. He was so skinny and I was told by my VET to get a dog food rich in protein to compensate with the needed weight. After few months he was able to reach the desired weight for his age. I suggest you talk to your VET at once since; he might be suffering from worms or other diseases. It’s not normal for a dog or even people to looses appetite unless they feel something bad
