Default Health hazards for dogs & kids

Health-Report:
Carcinogenic Chemicals - in other words cancer causing chemicals
Hundreds of chemicals, possibly even thousands of them, are capable of causing cancer to occur in animals and humans alike. Cancer seldom eventuates from one acute exposure but after prolonged low level exposure or exposure over shorter periods to higher levels.
There are many well known and documented examples of chemicals that actually cause cancer in humans. For example the fumes of the metals cadmium, nickel, and chromium will cause lung cancer. Sarcomas are known to be caused by vinyl chloride, whilst the exposure to arsenic substantially increases the risk of skin and lung cancer. Chemically induced changes in bone marrow by toxic chemicals such as benzene and cyclophosphamide and other toxic chemicals result in leukemia. Scientific organizations funded by governments consider benzo[a]pyrene and ethylene dibromide to be carcinogenic to humans as they are potent carcinogens in test animals.
The sad fact of the matter is that cancer induced by chemicals takes many years to establish and may not become apparent until long after the chronic low level exposure has stopped, as may be the case with an infant crawling on surfaces which have been cleaned with toxic chemicals used by an an unaware mother.
A good example of the latency period involved with one particularly bad carcinogen is the length of time it takes for lung cancer to develop after acute or chronic exposure to asbestos or to the more well known example of cigarette smoke. A latency period of as much as thirty years is common for many of today's known carcinogens.
However, what about the chemical industry's massive introduction of new chemicals every year. How many of these 1000 plus new chemicals introduced every year are going to prove to be killers in the long term?
NO ONE can answer that question! We just have to wait and see! Some experts are predicting at the current rate of increase, cancer will strike almost 100% of the "developed" world's population within 50 years!
ONLY YOU can make a difference by saying NO to toxic chemicals in ALL there forms!

 If you would like information on a "one-stop-shopping" store where you can shop for safer alternatives I would be happy to share with you where I get my household products now that I have made the "smart switch". I converted my whole house to safer, environmentally friendly products so my family and my Doxies were no longer in danger. Free toxic product report info and education. Do you REALLY know what is in your home?? Remember- your children animals only have one voice.. The one you give them
