So what are the very best treats to give dogs? And what is a proper amount to give a dog in a day or should it be thought out in weeks? I give my dog treats almost daily but he usually has to earn them by being good or by sitting, shaking, laying down etc.. I just want to make sure I'm not over doing it and making him fat and unhealthy.

I normally give my dog treats about once a week, as other wise she decides she wont eat her food and wants a treat lol.

I normally follow the guide on the packet, you know if your dog is medium size give them this many.

we give rascal pupcorn it comes in a barrel like container and is net WT. 7 oz. (198 grams).the treats are bone shaped and are low fat, low calorie, and low sodium.We give rascal roughly 4-6 treats a day and he always eats his normal dog food.They are normally easy to break so you dont have to give them the whole thing unless you want.It comes in diferent colors but they only taste like peanut butter.

i give my dog around 1-2 treats a day. and thats only if he does a trick..or is just being cute.
