Do leave dog food out for your dog or do you have them on a feeding schedule? I feed my dog once a day in the morning at 10 am and he gets a very nice amount of food which he usually gets done with in a matter of 5-10 minutes. He also will get a half a bowl at night if he did a lot of running and playing. Not being curel by doing this but if i leave food out for him he goes nuts and gets sick because he doesn't know when to stop.

I give me dog a bowl of food in the morning if she doesnt eat it then she wont get another bowl at night.

All though during the day I might mix it up a bit & chuck in a bit of extra meat to try & tempt her.
My dog gets full bowls as she is a fully grown adult so it does her about right.

What is the right amount for puppys to eat? any one as this would be usefull info.

My dogs get 2 meals per day, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.
