On Saturday Night Live there was a feature that I think was called "Deep Thoughts With Jack Handy."
One of his quotes was something like "You know, if dogs ever run for office I hope it won't be all about size... Because I bet there are Chihuahuas out there with some good ideas."

If we start nominating dogs for public office would they go away? The humans I mean.ops:

The downside is that the dogs can't run for 3 consecutive terms or else they'd be senile by then. (Dog years!) But hey, aren't the ones in office acting like seniles too? (Opss, getting politically uncorrect here.)

A comedian did a bit about a dog waiting in a car and his owner comes back with a hamburger, and the dog says "Hey! Where did you get that?"

You had to see it, but it was funny. I think Norm MacDonald had a line about a homeless guy with a dog, and the dog was thinking "You know, I can pretty much do this on my own." There's nothing funny about someone being homeless, of course. But I have seen people on the street with dogs before.
