In our place, we bring our dogs outside to pee or poo every morning and so they make it a habit to be noisy whenever they want to pee or poo because they are used to going out when doing these necessities.

Do you also do that in yur place? Where do they usually pee and poo? I understand that some states and places have specific areas for these in such a way that dogs don't just scatter their waste anywhere.

We have acres of property that we live on, so our dogs go basically where they want. We didn't train them, but luckily they don't like to be seen/watched when they are doing it, lol. So they usually go up to the woods. I'm thrilled about their decision to do that!

Yes, sometimes we think that they think like human beings. They seem to understand what we feel and think and try their best to become good dogs!

We trained Nona using lots of praise, treats, and reinforcement. It depended on what the task was we were focusing on. For example teaching her to walk nicely on a leash was pure trial and error until we found a leash/harness system that gentle commanded her to follow. On the other hand sit and stay simply required repetition and reinforcement.

My dogs are just used to going out to do their business...Fortunately, they usually go by the woods.
