I have never used a Laser pointer but one of my dogs absolutely goes CrAzY over flashlight and the light that comes from them.

I have a friend who has been using a lazor with his pittbull ever since he was old enough to romp around and now he constantly looks for it even when it's not even on. It's very frustrating because this once lovable dog is too busy looking for the red dot instead of saying hello to you. Of course this is just ONE dog , and I'm sure in moderation it's ok just don't make it a daily habit.
