LOL! These are good! I can relate relate to most of them especially the groceries one. We skimp on food for ourselves, but dont think another thought of buying our dog expensive prescription food, even when my husband was out of work for 14 months. I remember when we were newlyweds years ago, we bought our two dogs their food, and then bought some wild bird seed for the birds outside. After the bills we had no money left for our own food so we ate peanut butter sandwiches for two weeks LOL! Who cares, as long as you are happy, and have your furry kids well taken care of! That's what it is all about!

You're not kidding! We're going through circulars cupon clipping all day long while we go out and spend our life's savings on organic...everything for the dog. Hell, we don't event eat organic!

I just spent over $20 on roast beef that was on sale which I then cut up into bite sized chunks for the next time I make up a batch of homemade food. They get ten pounds of roast beef...I don't remember the last time I had roast beef!!!

I adopted them. They are my responsibility and I make sure they get the best I can possibly give them. If it means I go without sometimes, so be it.

Same applies to myself as probably a lot of people on this forum. Some people say we don't have a life... I say we just love our dogs to death! if you're going to get a pet you better take care of it. It's your most prised possession.

Cockapoo Rules
This list of rules is framed and hanging in my hall. I found it when we were vacationing in Ohio, and of course... it applies to me and my dog. I'm sure everyone reading this can relate. Just change the word Cockapoo to whatever breed you have.
COCKAPOO RULES
1. The Cockapoo is not allowed in the house.
2. Okay, the Cockapoo is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms.
3. The Cockapoo is allowed in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture.
4. The Cockapoo is only allowed on the old furniture.
5. Fine, the Cockapoo is allowed on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed.
6. All right, the Cockapoo is allowed on the bed, but only by invitation.
7. The Cockapoo can sleep on the bed whenever she wants, but not under the covers.
8. The Cockapoo can sleep under the covers every night.
9. Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the Cockapoo!
10. In all cases of dispute…. The Cockapoo rules!

That's EXACTLY like what went on with my dog Lucky and going to my grandparent's house She went from being stuck in the garage to plopped right between them on the sofa

My Pomeranian doing applause like moves, while she begs for the treat.
When we drove one time through fast food drive trough place (forgot which one it was) , she received a doggy cone. It was so pleasure to see her eating it
Now days, every time we drive through fast food place - she applauds all the time

That sounds so sweet! My Jack Russell begs and if he is really excited his jaw trembles as though he is trying not to cry. I love to watch him do that!

You know your dogs are spoiled when:
You make your guests take their shoes off at the door but the dogs can come in, muddy paws and all, with out getting them wiped off first.
