The following ad appeared in a newspaper:
SINGLE BLACK FEMALE

(The phone number was the Humane Society and Daisy was an eight week old black Labrador Retriever.)
A dog saw somebody putting money into a parking meter and reported to the other dogs, "They're putting in pay toilets!"

i came across this about two or three years ago. There was included a pic of a Black Lab pup about 8 weeks old. It was hilarious. What was even funnier was they there had been approx 100 or so calls from men interested until they found out they were not calling a woman but the Humane Society....

I was worried about the same thing. They wouldn't want to mention the person's name but think they could of given some info about who adopted!
