Dogs have been evolutionised over thousands of years to bite Postmen, they are the modern equivalent to a cave intruder.

My previous dog - a female - used to go banana`s at the sight of a postman. It was a Banzai charge that would have been given a top credit by the Japs in WW2.

She once saw a postman on a bike 50 yards away on the road round my local green and took off like a rocket.

Christ ! That postman's legs were just a blur pumping the hell out of his pedals, with my dog snapping at his back wheel like a miniature T-Rex with a sore bum. She came back looking very proud of herself.

LOL, you really crack me up even when you're serious. But yeah, I never thought of it that way.. Poor postman though, he must've requested to be reassigned to another place after that.

I asked his replacement what had happened to him and he said the guy had ditched being a postman and got a job in a Safari Park wrestling crocodiles - reckoned it was safer than biking it round my road.

To stop my little girl from having withdrawal symptoms, I bought her a postman squeaky toy.

All of my dogs have trampled our postman and licked him to death. One minute the postman was reaching out to pet them saying what good dogs they were and the next he was on the ground with Porter and Buster on him licking his face and our mail was scattered over the front lawn.

There `aint no licking with all my dogs, they just don`t like postmen. A guy that sticks his hand through the letter box and deposits a load of unwanted crap onto my carpet, is seen to be an intruder. The den is under attack and Fido responds like a bear with a sore bum.

They just don`t like `em. I had to block up my letter box with a piece of hardboard in case I found fingers and pieces of human anatomy laying around behind the front door. You see, we in the UK have our mail delivered through the house letter box, we don`t have a mailbox erected 50 feet from our home like Americans do.

Ya wanna deliver something, ya stick it through the letter box.

Nope Moonlight, dogs and postmen simply don`t mix. Evolution knows best and created them as totally separate species, born to hate.
