My sister's pittbull is named Mouse. Must be a common name for dogs?

My Mouse is the only "Mouse" I know. She's aptly named, too LOL. People comment all the time on what a perfect name for her LOL The first thing my sister said to me after I showed her pics of my new dog "no offence, she's really, ummm, rat-like" LOL Which was better than my Mom's "Eew, it's ugly!"

THey soon changed their tune, and love her as much as I do, She is so silly and sweet, you cant help but go AWWWE

LOL How adorable is that. Did she do it on her own or did you teach her?

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Well, kinda both, I was doing some free-shaping with the beam that I am using to teach Oliver to balance, and she offered this behaviour! I have no idea where she got the idea to offer this, but I clicked it and Voila, in 2 minutes, I had a reliable Pray and in another 2 minutes, I had it reliably on cue!!! Mouse will do anything for food!

She's not dumb, when it comes to getting food! She is the single most food obsessed dog I've ever met! LOL.

I used to have real issues with training her, but I got patience on day, and waited for her to use her brain, instead of just react with a free-shaping session instead of luring... and now, She has no issues thinking in shaping sessions! Mouse is one of my Deaf and partly blind Doxies. I use an LED Click light, and semi-darkness to train her.
