Default Mr. Buddylee: Not A Big Fan Of Slushy Snow!

Trekking through the wet, slushy snow is not Mr. Buddylee’s favorite activity. The first half of his 1500 mile weekend journey was cold and damp, so the inside of the van, under his warm blanket, was the preferred location. As we passed through the early Winter weather into a bit warmer South Carolina climate, the semi-annual stop for Blenheim Ginger Ale at the “South of the Border” attraction caught Buddylee sniffing the turf of an over-sized fiberglass hound dog. Our boy is safe and sound in his southern home and ready for many new adventures.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

My little shorty JRT Lara requires 3 layers of clothing before venturing out into the snow. She will stay on the ground long enough to "attend to business" and then demands to be picked up because her little feet are cold.

I spent over $50 on winter boots for her and as yet have never managed to get and keep all four of them on at once.
