Default What has your dog/puppy chewed up?

I'm certain this has been done before, but an article got me thinking - What is the biggest/most expensive thing you dog/puppy(s) have chew up or destroyed?

I guess I should start.

Well Gypsy didn't ever get anything unusual - just a couple of pairs of my dress boots.

Now Taz, she ate the front off of the satellite DVR. Yep, $600 hi-def receiver/dvr became a chew toy. The guy on the phone could believe it, and I did get $200 off the new box when I sent back the old one to prove my story. She also got the remote that was sitting in front of the box, but they replaced that for "free".

My Corky chewed up the remote for my vcr (This was about 10-11yrs. ago.) I tried to get a new remote (a universal wouldn't work as I couldn't set up to record my soaps while I was at work--The da*n Vcr company had that fixed so you couldn't with this particular brand. They actually wanted about as much for the remote as the whole thing was worth--So I told them off and said I'd be sure not to buy their brand again! So I ended up buying another vcr! Corky had to be put to sleep last year because of heart disease--I still miss him terribly and if he were still here--He could chew up another remote and wouldn't even get scolded--He never did when he did it that time either. I was at work and he wouldn't understand why I would be scolding him anyway.

As a puppy, Bailey was famous for sneaking into my purse, extracting my wallet and chewing up all of the paper money and assorted cards - visa, health card, drivers license etc. I figure she ate at least $400 before I finally learned to keep my purse out of her reach.

Mostly shoes and socks, kids toys, etc.
But the award for the one most expensive item would have to be given to Brody, for chewing the back out of my $150 pair of Sorel boots.

I had an italian greyhound that chewed my whole couch up. There was nothing left but the legs. I had only had the couch 2 weeks.
