Default Remembering Rhina

Rhina (or Lady Coreen to use her pedigree name) was the family German Pointer and teh first dog that I knew. She was an unusual breed and quite a nervy dog, but very loveable.

At the age of 12, she had puppies for the first time (after getting out of the house). Unfortunately all three were still-born. She became quite distressed and we had complaints of her wailing during the day. It turned out she had cancer and my mum had to put her down. I have since gone through a similar experience with a cat, Sebastian, and know how awful a decision that is to make.

Remembering Rhina...no doubt my grandparents are up there taking her for a walk.
