I lost my little guy tonight...suddenly...to an accident.
His name was Fluffles and of course, he was the best friend anyone could have had. But we all know that, don't we??
We adopted Fluffles 3 years ago from a local family that felt he needed more care than they could provide at that time. We had just lost our Maltese Pagie one month before, and our hearts were broken. Our vet called to tell us about Fluffles, and left the owners phone number with us...."just in case".
I didn't feel I was ready for another dog, but my husband asked me to go with him to "just look"...

Fluffles was a beautiful young Maltese with such a "sparkle" in his eyes that just looking at him brought such joy to my heart as well as everyone he encountered.
He truly was a "blessing" in our lives, and I can't imagine life without him...his friends in heaven will be lucky to have him as their new friend.
As I go to bed tonight, I know I will yearn to feel his warm body against mine. When I wake in the morning that "big ball of blankets" won't be there.
My heart breaks...

I'm new here but wanted to offer my sympathy....that has to be so hard. I'm so in love with my girls I can't imagine losing either of them to an accident and you have my sincere condolences.....
