Shame had to be put down 11/8/07. I will miss him so very much. My home isn't the same without him although I have three other dogs. Shame was my like my baby. We did a lot together in his 10 years. I am sure we'll see each other again. I know he knew how much I love him at the last moment. I hope it did. I will always love him, miss him and think about him.

I'm so sorry about Shame. He sounds like he was a wonderful dog, and a sweet companion. Please accept my deepest condolences and sympathy.

And you're right -- you will see him again! I read something on another web site that I really liked, and thought I'd share here:

Every night as I go to sleep
My sadness runs a bit less deep
For I've moved closer by one day
To when you and I again will play.

This was part of a poem written by someone, and I just found it beautful.

sorry to hear about Shame. Special pets come along only once in a while. Just give your other dogs a big hug and they will make you feel better. Unconditional love. Too bad people can't learn from dogs.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my yorkshire terrier 3 months ago and he was 161/2. I still miss him everyday, as he was born in my kitchen because I also had he's mum and dad.You will never forget Shame and you will see him again.Just remember he is at rainbow bridge having lots of fun waiting for the day he will see you again.---Aggy

thanks a lot. My house don't seem the same without Shame. I know I will get better but my heart is hurting so much. I try not to cry but the tears just come. I know when time passes so shall all the hurt. thanks to all of you.

But you can learn from a dog I have learned a lot in my dogs 4 yrs with Spark (my dog) and I hope he will live long
