Question Still thinking of her....

This isn't about one of my dogs dying, but I thought this belonged in here, but anyway. My dad sold my little beagle, Josie. He said he wouldn't, but just because she wasn't a good hunting dog. She would have had a good life with me instead of the person that she went with. He had a dog that was very underweight, but my dad gave her away anyway. I am just worried that she won't live much longer than when we still had her. What should I do?

that's sad... one of the hardest thing to do is to be part of our pets.

just get understand if the breeder is nice guy especially to your dog. just let it be with him if he's kind hearted or try to take it back. you can visit it now and then if you really miss it to show how much you love your beagle. nothing could cut off the relationship of you and your dog. love can solve every problem inthe world. have a good day

I'm so very sorry about your loss. My dad did that with my cats when I was living with him in my late teens and it still bothers me. I don't know of any advice I could give you, though I wish I had something I could say to make you feel at least a little better.

I think I would have a talk with your Dad and tell him exactly how you feel. I'm very sorry this has happened to you. Animal's are not disposable and deserve love whether they are a good hunting dog or not...

Stay the way you are storm, you can usually alway's tell what a person is like by the way they feel about animal's and the fact that you are worried about Josie speak's volume's...

A good dog doesn't have to hunt to be a good dog. If all your dad cares about is how well a dog hunts, then he shouldn't have a dog. How would he like it if your mom only cared about his wallet?
