Tell me how?
I went to the youtube link to see this, and mistakenly clicked the link to "white dog crosses rainbow bridge, we were too late".
I am still crying about that, and haven't gotten around to looking at "till then" yet.
I know that this is only one, and there are probably far worse, but I just can't cope with it at all.
Those of you who become involved in rescue, would you please explain to me how you do what you do without despising people? I admire so much what you do, and the lives that you save, but how do you do it?

Dear Jabberwocky, I'm sorry you seen the wrong link. To answer your question, I do despise abuser's and will do whatever I can to make the law's change. For me, anger against the person or person's involved take's over and pushes aside the shock, horror and depression that is just below the surface.

That was a very nice and it is so hard when you loss a pet. I had a little white terrer for 19 years and had to have her put to rest. She had cancer. There isn't a day that don't go by that i don't think of her. She was like one of my skin kids.
I just wished that everyone would love there animals like we do. They are apart of my family and would hurt someone over them. To me they are just like little childern and no one better not mess with them.

This is a topic that I find really hard to even talk about. Bailey, my border collie X will be 13 in February and I'm just beginning to reconcile myself to the fact that our time together is not indefinite. Even though she is in excellent health apart from having higher liver enzymes than are considered normal, I've begun to look at every day I have with her as a gift. I try to imagine my life without her there and I just can't. I'm trying to treasure every moment and commit to memory all of our good times so that I'll have that to hold onto when she's gone to the Summerland.

Awe Lara's mom, Bailey is in good health yet, and every day is a gift for all of us... When it's time Bailey and all our loved one's will just move on, they will never be gone.... Here is a link to one of my cocker's memorial's if you would like to visit with him.. He was a rescue and I miss him very much but know I gave him the best life I could while he was with me...
Please ask your vet about giving Bailey Milk Thistle for the liver....

Your memorial is so beautiful...It made me cry. Thank you for sharing it with me. Bailey is taking a natural supplement called "Hepato Support." The main ingredient is milk thistle plus some vitimans. She is also taking a drug called Denosyl.
(S-Adenosylmethionine - 425 mg). Her liver scores have really improved. We're waiting for another blood test at the end of June. Hopefully, she'll be back to normal by then. I just can't even bare the thought of losing her.

It sound's like you have a good vet that is willing to use supplement's.. (((((Lara's mom))))) Bailey is improving and I'm sure you and she will have lot's of healthy quality time together, but I know what you mean. I think every one of us that love's our pet's think's about that day when we will have to part, even if only for awhile....
Thank you for visiting with my Angel booboo, he was alway's the greeter of the house and love's company.
