When you work in a veterinarian hospital, you have to learn to separate yourself from the precious clients in your care. It's hard sometimes. Last Wednesday, I noticed that one of our collies didn't seem to be herself. I was off on Thursday. When I returned on Friday, I asked someone how she was doing. I was told she was euthanized on Thursday. I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I felt like I hadn't had a chance to say goodbye. It was unexpected. I just wanted to put this out as a memorial to one of our lost clients and to let everyone reading know how much your veterinary and kennel staff loves your dogs. |
