Default This One's for Daliha

When you work in a veterinarian hospital, you have to learn to separate yourself from the precious clients in your care. It's hard sometimes. Last Wednesday, I noticed that one of our collies didn't seem to be herself. I was off on Thursday. When I returned on Friday, I asked someone how she was doing. I was told she was euthanized on Thursday. I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I felt like I hadn't had a chance to say goodbye. It was unexpected. I just wanted to put this out as a memorial to one of our lost clients and to let everyone reading know how much your veterinary and kennel staff loves your dogs.

Oh that has to be one of the hardest parts of your job. i really like how you called your patient "our" collie. Your patients are lucky to have you!
