I inherited pepper in a divorce and she was elderly then/she was put to rest at the age of 19 years.she was miserable,in pain and i eased her into heaven in my arms.tori was my first pit bull who surcame to cancer at 11 years and my heart still grieves for her she was a special girl,loved by all.arizona,my rescue mutt who was so gentle was poisoned by a neighbor in our own yard,she died in my arms at the door of the vets office.and tri-pod the super cat,hit as a kitten,lost a back leg and his tail,yet lived a long life of 20 years and died quietly in my arms purring until his last breath.i now have my second pit,a rescue and a good dog to fill some of those empty spots in my heart.never say never,god put dogs and cats here for us to love and care for and they love and comfort us as well.
