Default Precious Poodle, Soapie: Still missed after 13 years!

This will mark the 13th anniversary of our beloved precious poodle, Soapie. Soapie is resting at a nearby pet cemetary where we still visit him on holidays and birthdays, as well as the anniversary of his death. 13 years -or- 33 years, he will always be in my heart and memories...he will never be forgotten, he will always be missed. Time has still not healed the pain in my heart from losing him.
`Till we meet again.." ops:

You can view pictures of Soapie by going to my gallery, soapaws, at this site. OR you can just click/go to the link below:

Thank You

I saw Soapie's picture you posted. Thanks. He was a sweet looking dog.
I'm sure you find comfort knowing he had a wonderful family.

I can only imagine the depth of sadness that the loss of a dog could bring. I know it will grip me someday, too, so I'm always reminding myself to never take my dog for granted. So when she leaves me, I'll have a lot of good memories to sustain me.

Still missed after 13 years? Wow, am sure whereever he is, he's very happy knowing that he had a great family and how lucky he was to have one who always remembers him. Never had a dog after him? I know we can't replace someone we love so much but it can ease the pain somehow when we direct our affection to another.

Oh, I cried when I saw Soapie’s picture. He looks very happy and lively in the picture. HE is very lucky to have you soapaws. I am sure you took care of him very well.

I cannot imagine the feeling of losing a dog that I love so much.

I still visit my lost (not in a good way) puppy's burial site, so I imagine it has to be quite a comfort to have a place to go visit Soapie.

Unless you have a pet, nobody can understand the sadness you feel when they leave you.

It is heart breaking when the end comes, but if they have had a good life with a happy family, you should feel proud of yourself.

While the memories never go, and the hurt is still there, it does become easier to live with over time. After all, they were part of your family.....
