We have 2 miniature dachsunds here! The boys is names Maximillian Devil-Dog (we call him Max) and the girl is Carrington Louise (we call her Carrie). We also call them a bunch of other silly nicknames!

Oh I think those are EXCELLENT names for little dogs. I can completely get behind the theory: "the smaller the dog, the bigger the name!"

Oh I love the name Carrie! That's a very sweet name for your miniature dachsund. I think it will fit her since she's miniature just like Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City series who is also petite. :mrgreen:

That's funny you should mention Sex and the City because I partly named her after it! We got her last year right when I was obsessed with Carried Underwood winning American Idol and when I was rewatching the entire SATC series. Seemed like a very fitting name
