I don't think daisy is such a bad name for a dog. It is a name for a cow too, but it isn't so bad for a dog. My gt grandparents had a habit of naming their dogs Mitsey. When one dog died, the next was named the same name. Their reasoning behind that was that they didn't have to get used to calling a new dog by another name and they didn't have to think of a new name, it was already there. I remember at least three dogs they had and all were Mitsey.
