One of our cats is named Mina, like the character out of Dracula, because she's a gray tabby (and thus has the letter "M" on her forehead and needed an M name). Another is named Stinky. He was born without a tail and missing 2 vertebra leading up to where the tail should be. He had some muscle control problems back there when he was a kitten. Thank GOD he outgrew it.

I have a 4 year old, male Chichilla cat , all white with blue eyes, totally deaf in both ears, absolute nutter and probably due to this freaks out a lot for no apparent reason, hence his name is Junky. Also have 2 recently aquired Saimese kittens (5 months now), brother and sister from same litter, official names: Yin and Yan (obvioulsly!) but we call them Momo and Chiki because the names sound like their characters (Momo the male is laid back and cool and Chiki the female the opposite, springy and a general pest!)

Kimme is my U.G.L.Y. trolling wife's name. She is the one that clones all the people on Yahoo Answers and makes rude remarks about the nice people who are really trying to help others. She is so nasty and fat she hates anyone that is smarter than her. That is pretty much EVERYONE! She isn't really a dog but every time she walks past the construction workers that's what they yell " Oh NO! What an ugly dog!" So I guess my dogs name is Kimme.

Norman "Little Psycho" Bates. Can you guess our last name. He is a chihuahua with a tude (attitude). Showers are off limits at our house. Anyway the name fits him and we have fun with it.

Dunkin is my pitbull/carolina dog mix I rescued when he was 6 weeks old from being gassed. I drove 3 hours each way to get him so was going to name him Miles. But me and the friend that went with me to pick him up had stopped to go into the gas station and came back out to find both of our Dunkin Donut's iced coffees completely gone and a very happy puppy! And every time we go through a drive through he could care less, but jumps up and gets all wiggly when we go to a Dunkin Donuts. The girls use to feed him munchkins as a pup.
I have an american pitbull terrier I also rescued. When I pulled him out of the crate from the animal control van (that was bringing him and 9 other dogs to be euthanized as their time was up) he was wiggling all over the place. I had to actually sit on him to get the collar on. He was like a ping pong ball in the car on the drive, at the rest area and was bouncing around like a maniac...it was like he was on a caffine high. SO I not only ended up with an idea for a name, but with an unexpected theme by naming him Java. With the USDAA he's registered as Jumping Java Bean lol!
I had a staffy rescue I since found a home for I named Rosie after the poem A Rose That Grew From Concrete by Tupac Shakur. She was in seriously bad shape, and was taken in a drug raid.
One of my fosters was a pitbull/german shepherd mix that was found covered in diesel, so that was his name Diesel.
I could go on and on....
