It depends on the breed I have a boston terrier i named him Bison because he is strong and because its that hilarious character from street fighter. Another name i considered was Cheeto its cute and fun to say! I always loved giving animals ironic names though so depending again on it's breed i'd name a short hair fluffy and a big dog tiny tim
