for a great Pyr - she is white, right -- how about good old Bianca?or you could go all out and name her Nevis. remember - dogs like short names, Galathea would not do.

The world is your oyster with this one bud. I thought I'd just share my little story as it may help?? I am an artist and am pretty adept in particular at lead and graphite work. For years friends have always commented on my shading abilities. When I got my chocolate brown pit-bull puppy, I too wanted a strong but feminine name for her, but, also wanted it to be something 'of' me, hence I came up with "Shade". So, formula: Something strong, something feminine, something 'her' and something 'you' Good Luck

if you need name inspiration try this websitewww.behindthename.comyou can type words like "Queen" into the search bar and either select 'search for words in meaning' for which it will give you names literally meaning 'queen' or you can select 'search for words in description' where it will give you all thenames that relate to a queen in anyway, usually as a queen's name.Anyway if it helps here is the list for both search options, however if you want more detail on specific names (the meaning, the origin, the usage,) or if you want to search other lings like 'spartan' than you should go over to the website yourself:Meaning queen:CANDACE f English, Biblical (Variant) ECE f Turkish ELIZABETH f English, Biblical INDRANI f Indian, Hindu Mythology LAREYNA f English MALIKA f Arabic MALKA f Jewish MORRIGAN f Irish Mythology RAJNI f Indian RANI f Indian RATU f Indonesian REGINA f English, Italian, Polish, German, Late Roman REINA (1) f Spanish REINE f French RHIANNON f Welsh, Welsh Mythology RÍOGHNACH f Irish Mythology TAKOUHI f Armenian TEUTA f Albanian THEMA f African WIth queen in description: AILILL m Irish, Irish Mythology ÁINE f Irish ALBERTA f English, Italian, Polish ALEXANDRINA f English ALEXANDRINE f French, German AMYAS m English ANNE (1) f French, English, German, Scandinavian, Finnish, Basque ANTIOPE f Greek Mythology ANTOINETTE f French BELPHOEBE f Literature BOUDICCA f Ancient Celtic BRUNHILD f German, Germanic Mythology CANDACE f English, Biblical (Variant) CHRISTINA f English, German CLARIBEL f English CLARINDA f English CLEOPATRA f Ancient Greek (Latinized) CÚCHULAINN m Irish Mythology DESIDERIA f Italian, Spanish DIDO f Roman Mythology ELFLEDA f English ELIJAH m English, Jewish, Biblical ELISSA (1) f Roman Mythology ELIZABETH f English, Biblical ESTHER f English, Jewish, French, Biblical GÜNTHER m German, Germanic Mythology HADASSAH f Biblical, Jewish HEPHZIBAH f Biblical HERA f Greek Mythology HIPPOLYTE (1) f Greek Mythology ISABEL f Spanish, Portuguese, French, English, German JADWIGA f Polish JOAN (1) f English JUANA f Spanish JULIANA f Dutch, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Ancient Roman JUNO f Roman Mythology MAEVE f Irish, Irish Mythology MAKEDA f History MARGARET f English MARIA f Italian, Portuguese, German, Scandinavian, Dutch, Greek, Polish, Romanian, English, Finnish, Icelandic, Corsican MARIE f French, Czech, German MARY f English, Biblical MILLICENT f English NEFERTARI f Ancient Egyptian NEFERTITI f Ancient Egyptian QUEEN f English QUEENIE f English SERENA f English, Italian SHEBA m Biblical SIEGFRIED m German, Germanic Mythology STUART m English, Scottish TEUTA f Albanian THERESA f English, German, Scandinavian TITANIA f English ULRIKA f German, Scandinavian VICTORIA (1) f English, Spanish, Romanian, Ancient Roman VIRGINIA f English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Romanian, Ancient Roman ZABEL f Armenian ZENOBIA f Ancient Greek

I live the name Nova and I think it would be a fitting name for such the beautiful creature that you have. NOVA definition: n. pl. no·vae (-v) or no·vas A star that suddenly becomes much brighter and then gradually returns to its original brightness over a period of weeks to years.nova etymology [New Latin (stlla) nova, new (star), nova, feminine of Latin novus, new; see newo- in Indo-European roots.]
