I have a papillion and I have had a lot of people tell me that he looks like a fox!

I know what you mean. I am living in Ko Samui at the moment and there is a dog who lives on the resort I call foxy because of the way she looks. Got a pic attached. Not sure what kind of dog she is. She is pretty big and a lovely dog.

This is a better pic! She really does look like a fox. SO much so that I was wondering if dogs and foxes can mate and have puppies...Please feel free if you think you may know what kind of dog she is.

Doesn't begin with a P either but many people walking their Shiba Inu's are asked if that's a fox or asked how they 'tamed' one. :-D

You can see based on the pics, Foxes have a very distinct appearance.

Dog breeds like Shiba Inu or Pomerainian look like a fox. They come is a redish color and look somewhat fox like.

Pomeranian! My dog Coco is a brown Pomeranian cross breed with Japanese Spitz.

I have 2- they look like black foxes- they're called schipperkes (pronounced 'skipper-key')... They're not a designer breed- they're AKC recognized ^_^

Definitely a Pomeranian and yes they are very cute.
