I like the name alright. However, they say animals can learn their name faster if it ends in ie or y, such as Odie or Fritzy.

its a cute name for a dog. My old neighboor named his dog damit, so everytime he called him he'd yell "here damn it!" it was funny

Snaps seems ok, depending on what dog breed. It's kinda off for toy dogs.

My cousin's dog name was Snoop. Most of the times when he play he hump and lick over the other dog or human so he has attached name, Humpy Snoop.
