I had a Great Pyrenees named Clover after a great uncle. He lived to be 11 1/2. I miss him alot. Next dog will be a black lab and I'm going to name him Jack after my grandfather. Hate to admit it, but we currently have a cat. A stray that was on the property where we built our house. Hoped to keep her around as a mouser, but in the absence of any dogs currently she has become a pet.
hello! i have had a few dogs in my lifetime & i remember all of them. i've had a golden retriever named Poi, an alaskan malamute named Bear, a sheltie named Nicki, a chihuahua named Sammy, a grey dobie named Dobie, & our 2 now, Smokey an aussie mix & Dollar a pitbull.
Since I am a breeder, I use the kennel name of LD Legacies. My mother-n-law (who is more like my mom) has a;ways used the name Lone Dove for the Cattle ranch they own as well as her Miniature Schnauzers. Since we are the younger generation, i thought we would go with LD Legacies. I have 9 Shelties and each has a unique name.
They are all AKC registered so you are supposed to come up with a unique name as well as what you would call them on a dialy basis. I chose a theme that kind of follows there color scheme. Its really fun to come up with names and see the results when yoru done. Here is my list....
