Our dog came from the rescue with the name Leila.....we changed it to Stella....why? I don't know...I just liked the name and it seems to fit her.

My wife and I own a 3 and a half pound male chihuahua named Chaucer, like the author Geoffrey Chaucer. We are both Theatre majors and we didnt want to be cliche and name him Shakespeare so we chose a historical author.

i have 4 dogs in our family. i have a rottweiler named Cain who my daughter rescued from a shelter right before they were going to put him to sleep. He was known as aggressive and we have never had a problem with him. The 2nd dog was my sons she is a pitbull very hyper but very lovable. She too was a rescue that was made to live in a basement never saw the outside world her name is Mia and the two dogs I am currently taking care of is my youngest sons. Spaz named for his hyperness was given to son because the owner couldnt handle his hyperness and Mia was bought as a puppy to calm spaz down -ya right I am working on retraining both of these dogs The first thing they are both learning is how to use the treadmill and not eat it, as i am disabled and cannot take them on walks. Looking forward to talking to everyone on this site.

My Dane is named Dixie :-).

I have a 4 year old girl, shitzu/pom named Angel and recently got a male (9 weeks) shitzu/maltese and have named him Benji. However I feel like naming him Piddle Pop (for obvious reasons)

We have a 13 year old Blond Cocker Spaniel named Cinderella- we rescued her when she was abandoned, and left for dead at a park near our home- she is the sweetest little girl in the world- We adopted Wagner, a Lhasa, last January-the name came with him and we kept it. It suits him very well:???:His rear end sways when he walks...:grin:

My German Shepherd's name is Nadia, which means "to give hope" because she was a abused with only one eye left--My other GSD is Skye, the name came with him--I own 2 Pits named Kebo ( boyfriend named) and our black pit found on halloween named BOO I also have a blue merle BC named Tazz ( he's crazy so tazmanian devil + his beautiful color topaz ) call him Taazzy.

i have 2 dogs one is my mixed chow chow german shepherd Kelso (from that 70's show cuz kelso is a stud lol) and abu idk what he is my dad thinks hes part greyhound and jack russel terrier. (abu for the monkey from alladin cuz he was a trouble maker)

My sister adopted a dog a couple of weeks ago. She named her Lollipop, lol! Her nickname is Lolli.

I have two dogs. Ami the husky...its a japanese girl's name that is in one of the anime cartoons that I like to watch. And Lupa the Northern Inuit dog...Lupa is one of the werewolf titles from a vampire hunter series by Laurell K Hamilton the Lupa is the head female.

Our puppy is called Ben - we saw a giant of a golden retriever before we got our Ben, he was playing by a bulldozer (not working) and one of our kids called him Ben the Bulldozer. Then when we came to thinking of our dogs name, once we'd found him, Ben came up again.
