Our dogs names are Spike, my hound mix outside. Trouble, my bestest dog that is a full blood rat terror, I mean terrier. And then our small male pom named Jake.
Jake is the youngest and our problem child. :???:Trouble lives up to his name now & then.:shock: Spike is now 12 years old and is just a big dummy, but a lovable one.:-D

I Just got a Mini Pin. I named him Twearker "Tweak for short" because when you pick him up he twitches in your arms and when he sleeps alot too.

When my son was ten he received a much wanted Big Black Lab....he named him Thunder Akita (we called the Cherokee Tribe in Tahlequah, Ok) for the middle name.

My scottie: Much easier - Morticia thought I might get a Gomez!!

my girls is a GSD and her name is Bearla she was named after my hubbies childhood teddy bear. I bought bearla for my hubby from here in ontario after my hubbies wolf died of torsion/bloat at the ripe old age of 16. His name was King. My hubby and bearla are inseperable. I also have a rescue Pitbull by the name of Brutus. My daughter has a rescue chihuhua named Annah. The Kennel where we got her is a fantastic one.

Java Jemeima Jean and Kiplan Barkley Dynamite - Java and Kip for short. Java was supposed to be Java Jumanjii, but when I was telling a friend her "full" name she misunderstood me, she heard Java Jemeima Jean! We all had a big laugh, and that became Java's name! Kip was named after the Napolean's brother in the movie Napolean Dynamite. He is a bit goofy and vague like the character! His middle name is after Gnarles Barkley, a group I just love. I give my dogs full names because I don't think show dogs should get to have all the fun of having fancy names, mutts can have them, too!

i have a border collie x springer spaniel she is called fizz and she is six. i got her when she was a puppy my daughter who is now eight was two when we got fizz and i let her name her so she called her fizz as she love watching the tweenies and one of them is called fizz.

I have 2 shelties they are named Jackson and Jillian.

We have an Akita called Kato. That was not going to be his name initially, as the breeder had sent us photos of him and we noticed a white blaze up his nose, We were based on appearance going to call him Raiden (which is the japanese god of thunder and lightning) because the blaze does look like a bolt of lightning, but when we met him, his nature was alot more aloof and docile than I was expecting, and Raiden did not seem to suit his nature.

Soooooo back to the naming drawing board again. I am one of these odd ppl that love to name my animals based on their breeds history and all that sort of stuff, so I wanted a japanese name.

Eventually we came accross the words Kaito and Kato, but Kaito meant condemed or prisoner and Kato meant one with good judgement. When we met Kato for the first time, it was like he knew we were his family, he was the more reserved natrured pup of the litter and the last to come out, but once he saw my daughter Taylah he made an absolute BLine for her, and followed her around wherever she may have been, which is what we wanted, we were looking for a companion for all of us and a big dog that would just love and adore a child. He is and does.

And Kato, the one with good judgement just fits right!!

My dogs name is Cherokee he's a chocolate Lab., my mom named him she likes the indian names lol the dog we used to have her name was cheyenne. Some of my other dogs names were. Jake-pit mix Cody-Labradoodle Murphy-Husky Raven- Cane Corso.

I have a corgi, beagle, lab, terrier mix named Bella who will be 4 on August 16. We recently adopted a new puppy. She is a beagle, corgi, and possibly border collie mix (the father is unknown) named Zoey. She is 14 weeks old today.

My Beagle's name is Buddy he is only five years old right now but his birthday is coming up soon.

My dog, a 6-year old Westie is named Roo -- short for Rufus. (He has about a dozen nicknames as well.)

Roo "works" because that is a sound Westies love to make!

I just got a new Aussie Pup. He is a Red Merle. His registered name is Dagmar's King of Hearts and his everyday name is Roary, which means Red King. I think it fits him well, and my 16 month old love saying it. lol

I have an Akita which is a Japenese breed and his name is Kujo.A kujo is a high priest in Japan they performs ceremonies for the royal families and the rich.I also have a Husky/Shep mix puppy and her name is Nina which means little girl in spanish.She was very tiny and malnourished when we rescued her at 4 months old.She's now 7 months old and weighs almost 70lbs.She's still out "Little Girl" though.

I just got a 6 month old Min Pin. Shes full of energy and very tiny so I named her TINKA...TINK for short.
