We have a beagle/border collie mix named Abby. It just fit her as a puppy, though her full name is Abigail we call her Abby 99% of the time.

We had a boxer/beagle mix that has gone to the bridge. He was named Samuel by our kids but we always called him Sammy.

We have a new chow/golden retriever mix who is named Annie by the shelter. We are in the process of changing her name because Annie is too close to the name Abby and they are getting confused. We haven't yet decided on her new name.

My gorgeous little puppy is named chillie because i went through a million names first he was xavier after xavier rudd but that was a bit of a tongue twister and then i just decided that i have to choose a name right away so he can get used to it so i was standing in my kitchen looking around for something to name him after then i opened the pantry and saw a jar of chillie powder then i said thats it!!! he is beautiful.
Also does anyone know anything about tea tree oil and dogs????? please help

I got my Lhasa as a puppy and had not previously come up with names so I was just snuggling her while thinking of a name. My Dad suggested I name her "Abracadabra" (why, don't know!!) which I of course laughed at.

Something about that suggestion must have touched a chord though because I quickly named her Abby. Officially it is Abby Gail, thinking to call her by her "full name" when she was being bad. But she just gets called Abby and Abby Girl ... the Abby Gail idea never took (even when she is bad!)

The family I adopted my 9mo Black Lab/Blue Heeler mix from (his second family since he was born, sadly) said his name was Damian. The paerwork supports that spelling from birth, but I decided instead of the anglo spelling, to go with the much more familiar french spelling of Damien. I think it's a very cool name, one you don't see around too often... Plus it will come in handy when I get the door-to-door religion salesmen (Mormons, Jehovah's Witness, etc) "Hi, have you met my dog? His name is Damien!" :-)

i have 2 dogs 1 of them is a chihuahua and 1 of them is a lab. my labs name is bodie and my chihhuahuas name is taco. (p.s do you want to be my friend????)

I have 5 dogs: I have tried to match their names with their registered names ... you will see that I have not succeeded I tried though!!!

Kamo is the latest addition. I named him Camo (like camouflage) and then when I lost my heart dog Kera just before Kamo was born. I changed his name to Kamo with a K.
